![]() Method 2 is much easier and a failure won't lose you a lot of time. Method 1 is a lot harder and more prone to failure (which will set you back a lot), but if you can do it reliably will be better. After four resets I think the cost of a reset either gets too. The reason you start the loop from scratch so early here is because you won't be earning enough tributes to pay for the increasing restart costs and you don't really lose much by restarting back at 100. So method 1 is: Pay 15 tributes to start at wave 100 -> Clear 50 waves until you finish crucible at wave 150 -> Pay 5 tributes to start over at wave 130 -> Clear 20 waves until you finish at wave 150 -> Pay 15 tributes (the cost goes up each time) to start over at wave 130 -> Repeat. You start at 100 and clear one set of 10 waves to immediately cash out -> Start over at wave 90 -> Cash out at 100 -> Reset for 15 tributes to 80 -> Cash out at 100. Method 2 is doing a similar thing but cashing out early at wave 100/110. ![]() After four resets I think the cost of a reset either gets too high or it stops you from resetting. You can optionally increase the number of enemy spawn points as well here. Additionally, before you start you can choose to begin at wave 50 or wave 100 assuming you've reached that far in the past. After cashing out you can spend tributes (points you earn from playing crucible) to start over 20 waves below where you cashed out. Reaching wave 150 forces you to cash out because it is the final wave. Reaching wave 100 and cashing out (stopping early) in crucible results in 1 guaranteed legendary item / recipe (occasionally I'll get 2 and extremely rarely I'll get 0 - which can only happen when it rolls a legendary recipe that you have twice) for Challenger and above difficulty. This is the best explanation I've found about how to farm Crucible on a new character (Note, you need to be 100 and have OK gear that can at least kill bosses in Ultimate, if you can kill nemesis better yet) LINK Disregard the guy that told you to run Gladiator, that is the equivalent to Ultimate difficulty and at that point you are better off farming Twin Falls (If you could easily do Gladiator 100-150 you wouldn't be asking for farming tips)
